I expected to learn more about imovie and I really did!!! It is easier to learn as we work and watch each other. The best part of the day was seeing all the awsome ideas the groups came up with. I will try to use claymation as a project with my class using a story my class is familiar with. The next step is to keep practicing and learning more. Nona
I came expecting to be uncomfortable with the crafty part of the project. However, my comfort level rose immediately when I found out we could use objects rather than the clay. I learned that it takes lots of patience to make animated movies. The best part of the day was the fact that it turned out to be stress free. I'm still not sure how to justify the amount of time it will take for these kinds of projects at the high school level but my students could make a video with the doll house I have and the furniture. We still need to finish our movie.
I agree...the patience and enthusiasm of our instructors is certainly a plus! It makes these days not only informative, but exciting and fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the claymation project and am looking forward to learning more things today! This is wonderful! Thank you!
I was excited to learn new technology and experience the knowledge from the committee. Today was guite a learning experience! I hope to use this process for book projects and language arts creations. Thank you for the opportunity.
I learned about using the clamation feature. It was so much fun. It is another means for student learning and an excellent way to spark creativity. I could easily use this in my small groups for a number of activities. Thanks so much!!
I came today expecting it to be hot and confusing.
What I learned today is to think outside the box when preparing lessons for my classes. It really is something that is fun to do - for myself and for the students. I know I learn things better if I tell others.
The best part of today was working with the clay figures and constructing the entire claymation.
An activity I will do with my class is, maybe, have the students come up with their own claymation demonstrating their understanding of concepts in class.
Next steps might be to plan where and how I will interject this type of assessment.
I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from today. I knew it would be something cool, but I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.
Today I learned a great deal of appreciation for clamation artists. That was hard work and very tedious! It was fun, though, and I think that the students would really have a great time doing it.
The best part of today was working together and getting to utilize each person's unique creative skills.
An activity I will do with my class is...not sure yet. We don't have much time in the library, but I would use the clamation software in cooperation with a classroom teacher .
I came expecting to learn and I did. I had heard a lot about claymation and was excited to learn about it. I was sorry I didn't get to stay all day but my team carried on without me. The best part of my day was getting to see everyone so excited about the activity. I can see how I can use this with my literature projects.
I came today expecting to learn new things. I learned how to make a claymation istop movie. The best part of today is that I am starting to feel comfortable with technology and look forward to learning more every day. I will try to use claymation as a teaching/learning tool with my class.
The first day was fun. Claymation using iStop Motion should be a fun, cooperative activity for students to share group content learning. One challenge I will need to address is a way to organize the activity within a daily 45 minute time period.
I came expecting to learn some new software and take away some innovative ideas for this next school year! I learned the animation software, but more importantly I took away an idea for a project involving story retelling with my students. Thanks for a great day!!!

An activity I will do with my class is a biome lesson with claymation. Yesterday's project was a great way to learn about this software. - Thanks
Monday's class on iStopMotion was great. I appreciate the help of the instructors and hope to be able to use this in my classroom.

I also want to thank the "TEACHERS" for being so helpful and patient!!!!!
